Marionette is Now Offering LIVE Online Zoom Classes

Tropical Ocean Sunset Zoom Watercolor Class on Monday, August 31, from 10am to 1pm Hawaiian Time (1pm to 4pm PST and 4pm to 7pm EST) $40

In this class you will learn how to create a vibrant ocean sunset that captures the magic of a Kaua‘i evening. First we will build a colorful wet-on-wet sky while learning how to make clouds and a radiating sun. Next we will learn techniques to paint the ocean and a rolling wave on the beach. Last, we will paint our mountains and add a few palm trees all while creating depth and texture.

Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced painter, this class offers a joyful, relaxing space to play with color, loosen your brushwork, and create your own radiant island landscape.

 

 

Beached Turtle Zoom Watercolor Class on Saturday, September 12, from 9am to noon Hawaiian Time (noon to 3pm PST and 3pm to 6pm EST) $40 

This watercolor class invites students to explore gentle washes, vibrant blends, and expressive color play while painting a joyful sea turtle. You’ll learn simple layering techniques, how to create luminous hues, and how to let the paint flow to capture movement and personality. It’s a relaxed, beginner‑friendly session designed to spark creativity and celebrate the magic of ocean life.

 

 

Frilly Pink Hibiscus Zoom Watercolor Class on Tuesday, September 15, from 9am to noon Hawaiian Time (noon to 3pm PST and 3pm to 6pm EST) $40 

In this watercolor class, we will paint a vibrant hibiscus bursting with tropical color and island warmth. Together we’ll explore soft blending, luminous washes, and expressive brushwork to capture the glowing petals, bold stamen, and rich background hues. 

 

Peace Doves Zoom Watercolor Class on Monday, September 21, from 10am to 1pm Hawaiian Time (1pm to 4pm PST and 4pm to 7pm EST) $40

Brennecke's Beach Zoom Watercolor Class on Monday, October 12, from 10am to 1pm Hawaiian Time (1pm to 4pm PST and 4pm to 7pm EST) $40

 

This is a gentle, beginner‑friendly watercolor class where you learn to paint luminous tropical seas, rolling waves, and breezy palm trees using simple, expressive techniques. Students explore color mixing, layering, and brushwork while creating a serene coastal scene inspired by Kaua‘i’s natural beauty.

 

 

Full Moon Zoom Watercolor Class on Monday, October 26, from 10am to 1pm Hawaiian Time (1pm to 4pm PST and 4pm to 7pm EST) $40
